Beyonce's Beautiful Nightmare

The "crazy in love" and "bootyliscious" in her "freakum dress" Beyonce, has leaked a new track entitled Beautiful Nightmare. The song was produced by Palow Da Don and because her father, Matthew Knowles, doesn't take No for an answer it's bound to be a hit.

Take You To Esctasy

Too often people utter the lines "Let me take you to Ecstasy" without the proper steps, so we at TalkofDC are here to educate and help.

First step: Foreplay, the physical and sexual stimulation (kissing, touching, stroking, etc.) that occurs in the excitement stage of the sexual response before intercourse or without intercourse. Foreplay can lead to orgasm without intercourse.

Foreplay is a key step. It leads to buildup and excitement. However, make sure you do it correctly. If you mess up this early in the game it could result to loss of interest.

Second Step: Climax, also known as orgasm: the moment of most intense pleasure in sexual intercourse, the highest point conceived.

Climax
is usually where people stop. They got theirs, they hope you got yours, put yours drawers up, put your pants up, thanks, call me later. This is where the mistake is usually made. This is not the end. Most people think that if I made you climax and the foreplay was good, then I took you to Ecstasy as promised and we good. Now, this may result in a call back and a potential frequent sex buddy, but it's more out there. Don't stop at Step Two; be all you can be.

Step Three: Ecstasy, a state of being carried away by overwhelming emotion;a state of elated bliss.

Like the drug, taking someone to Ecstasy can alters the user's perception of reality. This is the after climax. That moment where you have really "rocked their world". They have no idea where they are, what they did, how they got their, but know they want more. With Ecstasy you have not only solidified your position, but you have taken control. From this moment forward in the
relationship, you can have whatever you want, whenever you want, and however you want it.

We here at TalkofDC hoped you enjoyed todays lesson. If you need additional instructions Join TalkofDC March 28th - March 30th as we take you to Ecstasy...

Friday, Foreplay @ Liv. 2001 11th St. NW DC. 18 to Touch, 21 to Taste.
Saturday, Climaxx @ Pasha Lounge. 2147 P Street NW. 21+

Sunday, Ecstasy @ Penang. 1837 M Street NW. 21+

We the TALK OF DC......

Mr. X im still looking for a Valentine...

For the purpose of this Blog, the person that is discussed will be given the appellation Mr. X.

Men, you can't live with them but you can't live without them.

So, I know I shouldn't wait, anticipating Mr. X's pronouncement to be with me or not but I can't seem to let him go. I can't figure out why though, is it because I love him? or is it that I love the idea of him? In actuality, it's not that he isn't irreplaceable, so why is it that I just can't say "to the left, to the left" and walk away with my pride and dignity? This is a peculiarity that I have yet to grasp. I've read the books, watched the movies, and heard the stories. I know exactly what it is that I should do, but I remain awaiting for him to decide what he wants to do with me, as if I'm some substandard, disposable item. It's confounding to say the least. Deep down inside, I have a strong sentiment that it isn't love because love wouldn't treat me this way. It is said that,

"Love is patient, Love is kind, It does not envy, it does not boast, It is not proud, It is not rude, It is not self-seeking, It is noteasily angered, It keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight inevil, but rejoices with the truth. Love always protects, alwaystrusts, always hopes, and always perseveres. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things"

So, I put things in perspective and presume that it indeed is not love. However, I still linger around hoping that I am the women he chooses….

I know that I, as women, am stronger than a man. We are the bearers of life, we have the power to conceive, and intellectual potency that men only dream of having. So why do I succumb to Mr. X, knowing that he isn't dealing with me as gently and kindly as he should be? I don't know what it is that keeps me coming back for more, but I sure do hope it's not love.

Until next time,

Love Talk

Top 10: Effective Pickup Lines

Top 10: Effective Pickup Lines
from AskMen.Com

Number 10

"Excuse me, is this seat taken?"

Innocent, charming and polite. It is not always safe to assume that a woman sitting next to an empty chair is alone. Your consideration of the fact that she may be saving a seat for someone shows that you have class. What makes this an effective pickup line is the fact that its unobtrusive and gives her the opportunity to invite you to join her if she is alone.

Number 9

"Would you like to dance?"

Hopefully you have enough rhythm in your pants to actually dance. If you impress her with your skills, you might just find yourself at the bar talking about music, the DJ or even the venue. This is among the most effective pickup lines because women like to dance, and if you shuffle your feet right, you might end up doing a tongue tango or the horizontal shuffle.

Number 8

"Can I interest you in a glass of…?"

Insert the type of beverage for which the occasion calls. In most cases, we are speaking of an event or gathering that calls for a glass of wine or a pina colada, and if you're in college, a beer. If it's a toned-down occasion, you might offer a soda or lemonade. No matter where you are, this is one of our favorite pickup lines because it affords us the opportunity to display our skills as a connoisseur without being overt about it.

Number 7

"Do you come here often? I could use your opinion about something…"
Before that gulp of beer comes out your nose, hold on. We know that this one sounds like a cheesy pickup line, but you can make it work for you. If you are having a hard time choosing a dish, a beverage or even an article of clothing that best suits you, this is the time to solicit the help of a woman who may happen to frequent the place in question. If you utilize her choice and opinion as a topic of conversation, you'll see that this is among the most effective pickup lines on the planet.

Number 6

"Excuse me; can you help me with…?"

Here's where you can come up with a light task for her to help you with, such as winning a bet among friends, naming a song that is playing or even ordering a drink. This will make her feel as though you are interested in her and appreciative of her feedback, opinion or selection. Requesting her assistance gives her a non-verbal indication that you're impressed with her appearance and ultimately states that her answer is valued.

Number 5

"Don't you find this place…?"

Insert a word that best describes how you feel about the venue, such as classy, cool, chic, or off the hook. Hopefully, she will share the same opinion, which will ultimately lead to further conversation about the ambiance, the decor and places you have encountered that have similar attributes. Don't, however, complain; doing so will dampen her mood and turn her off faster than an Eddie Murphy movie.

Number 4

"You look like you might be interested in some great conversation."

If you say this with the right tone and with enough attitude, it'll put a smile on her face. While this effective pickup line helps you break the ice, it also spontaneously creates a topic to discuss. This could be anything from food to wine or from a current event to the venue. Be sure that you're as willing to listen as you are to talk, and remember to keep it light and great, which is exactly what you offered.

Number 3

"Would you like an escort to your…"

When you notice a woman walking alone -- perhaps to her table, an elevator or even the bar -- it is always a nice gesture to politely offer her a sense of security. At the same time, it is highly likely that she won't be walking very far, so exhibiting your charm will be essential to your attempt to break the ice once you've delivered your effective pickup line.

Number 2

"Wow! I really like that (insert item of clothing or fragrance) you're wearing."

Women put great effort into preparing an ensemble that best reflects how they feel and how they want to be perceived by admirers. As such, your compliment tells her that her efforts did not go unnoticed. This small gesture will boost her confidence and earn you all access to front-row conversation. We suggest that you do a little research and arm yourself with tidbits of info relating to women's fashion so that you will appear sincere while you exercise this highly effective pickup line.

Number 1

"I just thought you should know that you have a really nice…"

Sure, you could say something derogatory, but that would likely get you a slap across the face. But, complimenting features such as her smile, eyes or nose can go a long way in making a woman open up enough to converse with you. Who says flattery gets you nowhere? The key is to make sure that you are genuine about your observation -- women can tell when a guy is trying to lay it on thick just to get close.

the pickup artist

Just remember:

Being cheesy isn't cute and will get you dismissed faster than she can bat an eyelash. On the other hand, being clever and confident with your delivery can get you to the next level. If flattery remains your point of action, make sure not to lay it on too thick. Compliments should be delicate and poured on lightly to ensure their staying power. The objective is to create a conversation starter that best reveals your interest and your intent.

G-Unit is back with a new mixtape. And it's actually Good!!

So the word on the street is that they kicked Young Buck out of G-Unit and that 50 is doing any and everything he can to keep his deal. After 7 videos and lackluster sales, it seems the machine that is Curtis "Interscope" Jackson is losing steam. Anyhow, the Unit is back with a mixtape that, although has a bit too much singing, and not enough of a lyrical punch as expected from Banks and Fif, it does remind you a bit of the old G-Unit mixtape days..

Jay-Z is back with some new heat.. "Ain't I" (prod. by Timbaland) off of DJ Clu's I Am Legend pt. 1

So the rumor is that Jigga Jay-Z is back once again on his grizzly. The word is this is an old unreleased track, but the way he speaks on it, it seems as if he is referring to more recent events. You never know with Hov nowadays. He is liable to drop a whole album on the low... Anyways, check it out right here, and feel free to download for your collection...

Indecent Proposal Wrap up!!!

So you might ask what has taken Ms. Talk so long to dish about Ms. YoDiddy's
"Indecent Proposal" well let me just tell you about it!
Her party was soo sexy and so poppin that nothing was mediocre, or "decent" I should say
rather "indecent" over the top and simply FABULOUS!
The proposal was sexy, it was ALIVE and it was CRUNK at PASHA!!!
Yodiddy's gorgeous self and her posse rolled in around midnight, and thats
when 21st. and Pst in NW DC woke up and became the "TALK OF DC."

The entire night I felt like Rihanna singing "PLEASE DONT STOP THE MUSIC" and he didn't... Talk Of DC's very own DJ KI definitely kept it going and didn't miss a beat!!!

As the sexy, the elite, the outrageous citizens of DC were steaming up the glass walls on the main floor, the VIP room was on a whole other level of "VIP"

The oh so "Very Important People" ofcourse starting with Ms. Yodiddy herself and her girls were steaming up the glass floor! Yes! If you have never been "important" enough to visit PASHA's VIP room on the second floor, well then that sucks for you!
The VIP room where Yodiddy had her own section was in an all glass setting, well atleast the floor was! So all eyes were on us, even when we weren't in the room ;) an indecent proposal indeed ;)

So to all of those who wish they had been there, dont worry there's always next year! And if you're wondering if it was all the rave that people are saying it was, well...IT WAS, it was all that and MUCH more! It was Bananas!!!

Till next time folk...CHEERS!

Let your haters be your motivators!!!!

This past Saturday 1693 set K St. On Fire!!

And you’ll never guess was the motivator of the NIGHT!

"The Jewel" at Olives this past Saturday was sooooo HOTT! that even the fire
marshal came through to show love!
Yes! As we' spent the night dancing atop VIP tables we noticed, through the huge windows at Olives, these red flashing lights!

Why? You might ask!

Well its quite simple!!!!

Olives was the place to be on Saturday night, not just for the DMV but for the entire east coast and possibly all of the US!!!!

Yes, dare I say it? I met someone from just about every part of the country!

It wasn't "Talk of DC"! It was “Talk of America"

So back to the juicy speculations! Rumor has is a certain mega-club was hating so
hard they sent over…hmmm.. how should I put this.. Some of their AQUA friends!!!

So what do you have when you mix Olives and Water!?!?

NOTHING!!

Unless we’re talking about the watered down drinks served at your club!!

Either way, it wasn’t quite the splash they wanted to make, by sending over 4 fire trucks, was it? Now I'm not pointing any fingers!!

At least not real accusations!

This is just a rumor!

But the more you think about it, the more you can see the rhyme and the reason behind your evil plot! I mean I would be mad too, if the sexiest, trendiest, FLYEST, people were at a party on K St. instead of on the other side of town at a huge night club! Especially, when you have a celebrity at that particular night club.

Well enough gossip from me! If you want to see what went down at "The Jewel"
and the AKA's 100 year celebration, stay tuned for some hott pics!

Till next time folks!

Cheers!

Hanna Tadesse

PS…. Its gonna take a lot more than a little H20 to put out this blaze!!!
